Tannery Arts supports the professional development of emerging and established artists through the provision of affordable studios
Drawing Room presents a curated exhibition and participation programme with an international perspective and is the UK & European centre for the exploration, appreciation and expression of the language of drawing.
We currently run four studio buildings, all located in South London. They all feature 24/7 access and include communal kitchen areas.
This building features 16 studios and 5 storage spaces and currently facilitates 29 artists. New Tannery Way includes purpose-built studios and is a home to Drawing Room, including a public gallery and a free, open access library specialising in drawing. This building features Community Studio – a bookable space for private and public events.
These two industrial units feature 24 studios and facilitate 25 artists. Studios on ground floor have a 5m high ceiling. All studios have a good natural light. There is a free parking available.
Located inside the Kennington Business Park Centre, this building is under 24/7 security. As a former University of Wales facility, this building features 33 studios and 11 affordable desk spaces in the common area.
Our smallest building which features 7 studio spaces and currently facilitates 10 artists. It was previously a car windscreen repair and fitting workshop. All studios have a good ceiling height and natural light.
